Rehabilitation
Therapeutic Exercises
Personalized program of passive and active exercises for restricted muscles and structures to increase functional range of motion, strength and to restore normal pain-free range of motion. These corrective exercises improve proper movement and muscle balance to prevent recurring injuries.
Neuromuscular Re-Education
Procedures that improve balance, coordination, joint position sense and posture and facilitate the resetting of tightened muscles to a normal tone. Balance training on wobble boards improves the patient's balance and coordination reducing the possibility of re-injury of these regions.
Shock Wave Therapy
Uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate healing in muscles and tendons by promoting blood flow, triggering collagen production, and breaking down calcified deposits. Its purpose is to relieve chronic pain, improve mobility, and accelerate tissue regeneration in conditions like chronic tendinopathies (e.g., tennis elbow), plantar fasciitis, and muscle strains.
Soft Tissue Therapy
Soft tissue therapy focuses on treating the muscles, ligaments, and fascia that support your body’s structure and function. Unlike a typical massage, this therapy uses specialized techniques to address underlying issues and promote healing.
Soft tissue therapy involves the targeted manipulation of muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues to alleviate pain and improve function. Techniques may include:
-
Myofascial release
-
Trigger point therapy
-
Deep tissue massage
-
Instrument assisted soft tissue therapy (IASTT)
Home Care Management
