Rehabilitation
Therapeutic Exercises
Personalized program of passive and active exercises for restricted muscles and structures to increase functional range of motion, strength and to restore normal pain-free range of motion. These corrective exercises improve proper movement and muscle balance to prevent recurring injuries.
Neuromuscular Re-Education
Procedures that improve balance, coordination, joint position sense and posture and facilitate the resetting of tightened muscles to a normal tone. Balance training on wobble boards improves the patient's balance and coordination reducing the possibility of re-injury of these regions.
E-Stimulation
Uses low-level electrical impulses to create muscle contractions for various medical purposes, such as strengthening weak muscles, and improving function after injuries or surgery.
Kinesio Taping
is a rehabilitative taping technique that uses elastic, adhesive tape to treat a wide range of injuries and medical conditions by supporting muscles, joints, and ligaments. It works by stimulating sensory receptors on the skin to increase the input to the central nervous system, which can help with pain relief and improve joint awareness (proprioception)
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitative) Stretching
is a technique that involves contracting a muscle group and then relaxing it to achieve a deeper stretch. It's known to increase flexibility and range of motion by using the muscle's natural reflexes. The process involves a passive stretch, followed by an isometric contraction of the stretched muscle, and then a deeper passive stretch.
